That is what worries me. Some of the caps posted look good and others not so.
I would be afraid of purchasing and ending up in the latter category. It's happened to me before..

Thank you for showing your new hats, SpeedRcrX! What people would want to know is that the full cut is about 10 1/2" diameter and the xfull is about 11 1/2" diameter.....so you can see how much hat is out to the sides.....also, if anyone is wondering, your head size is 22 1/4"; important info because the cut + the head size affects how the hat will look on the person!!!! And they BOTH look great on you!!!

All I can say is, The Hat People get around!!! Some of us are Oregon natives, and we know where to go! Actually, we are also on the search for some good brown herringbone wool, for our caps, if anyone has a lead on some good yardage!

Folks, just FYI, the black heather with grey highlights is a bit thicker than others we offer; it is even a little bit felted. I like to recommend it for cold weather places: like those snowing ones in the East I keep hearing about lately. Also, it sits firmly on the head with it's slightly heavier weight, and shapes well.

I think you got the black and charcoal grey herringbone, that we ran out of last year.....boy was that pop!! Wish we had more of that one! Good weight, good drape, subtle coloring.....you have a treasure there!!

This to NEOPHYTE: On the site, we are calling the fabric you got a herringbone, in green, black and brown. Actually, I recently learned that weave is called "birdseye."
It is another way they set up the loom to make the pattern come out like that; herringbone is another woven in pattern.

I received a Hannah-Hats eightpanel newsboy cap yesterday.. it's great. Brown Donegal tweed.. In my opinion it's cut comes close to vintage..
I'm on the fence of ordering one, could you post photos of your cap ??
