Lovely place! Don't know if you've ever been to the Basra War Cemetery but it (used to be at any rate) a quite nice place. Not sure what happened when we left.

Probably a few times...I frequented a LOT of places.
People always ask me if I miss CA or regret moving back to Denmark. I miss some of the hikes, picnic places, and cap areas though I don't miss camping in itself but people underestimate the beauty of the quick changes nature in East Jylland. It may not be any where as spectacular as most places in CA but everything I care for is within a bike ride away. Nothing is more than 15 km away. I don't know about the beach but I'm not a beach person and I can take a 5 min. walk from my mom's house when I visit her and be on a beach.

Hard to pin down where I am from, Born in New Brunswick, NJ, grew up in Baltimore, Md. and for the past 4 years I have been living the wintertime in Davao City, Philippines with my wife and working in Dillingham, Ak during the summer. I'm making plans to settle in Jacksonville, Fl though with dad as he needs the help these days. Just waiting on my wife's paperwork to get approved so she can immigrate here.

I'm American, from Ipswich, MA, and just returned home after four years in the Marines which took me to such lovely places as Pohang, ROK, Jacksonville, NC, Yuma, AZ, 29 Palms, CA, Cherry Point, NC, Pensacola, FL, and of course Parris Island, SC. I can often be found in Maryland or Virginia as well, working for the USMC Historical Company or visiting my girlfriend near Annapolis.
