She fell for Hong Kong and started bringing back all kinds of stuff she found that wasn't available in New York... Everyone who invited me to their Bar Mitzvah got a Minolta 16mm miniature camera. But the adults clamored for the Seiko chronometers. They were styled after Rolexes - clones, really... and they were very inexpensive. I have a box of them. They always say 1960's to me.

That's a Stetson I'm wearing. But when it comes to fedoras, I prefer a Knox Twenty-Five or one of my Whippets.

You know, I went back and looked, and you right - there are no obvious clues. My wristwatch is covered (it is a Seiko chronograph, which makes a 1960 vintage unlikely) and the Chesterfield and hat don't date the photo. Neither does the haircut! Shirt collar is hidden and sweater too generic.

Photo was taken last weekend - at the Transit Museum in Brooklyn, NY.

This was a stop after having a few great cocktails at a pre-prohibition style bar in Brooklyn, The Clover Club.
