Yet Another work of Art.......
After lurking, reading and studying I decided to go all out and have Art make a custom fedora for me. I sent a pic of a style that I liked and picked out a color, Black Cherry and went for it.
Working with Art was fun and instructional...and in a timely manner I was "on the block". Boy does time go slowly during the final wait. Oh well.... let's go to the pictures. The hat is a Black Cherry, 2-3/4 inch brim (on Art's suggestion and he was right) with a purple liner, the ribbon is 16 Ligne Teal. The hat has many different shades of color, as does the ribbon, depending on the available light.
These are all taken in bright Winter sunlight.
And..why is this man smiling?
Needless to say, I am very happy. This whole process was amazing and somewhat addicting....in fact before Art was through I signed up for another one, this time in "Sunset" color, gotta have something for the Spring.

Very nice Black Cherry, too. The teal is an interesting choice. I have myself considered a green ribbon on a Black Cherry.

It really works-- that Black Cherry and Teal is amazing. It seems like Art's work only gets better with each new post at the lounge! That spells trouble for my credit cards...!

I just received my Black Cherry from Art Friday evening and I must say he has done it again. Perfect fit! The color will prove to be a favorite with me as I feel it will go with many outfits both dress and casual. The ribbon is by my meausurements 1 11/16" wide and is about the same color as the hat itself. This is my third from Art. The quality that he puts into every hat makes them some of the finest hats found anywhere today.
I had a very busy weekend so no pictures yet but give me time and I will post a few this weekend. Thanks Art, great work...again
