The one scene that sticks out in my mind is when Connery's character refers to Garcia's character as a wop, which causes Garcia to stick his pistol against Connery's head and spout off something close to, "Yeah, and this wop's gonna blow off your mick head!" Connery looks at Costner as Ness and says, "I like him!"

Ah, yes.... Doesn't Connery play the only Irishman with an Edinburgh accent in that one? ;)

Not vintage "out for justice" crazy wanna be mobster goes nuts and kills a cop in Brooklyn, friend cop (Segal) takes apart the town and the wiseguys lookin' fa Richie. Lots of Baddabing baddaboom wiseguy Brooklynese spoken here! Also it was done in the era of ladies wit big hair.

Dragnet (1954) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0046931/

A pretty cool movie Sgt Joe Friday puts the heat on some bad guys after the murder of a small time bag man gets shotgunned in vacant lot in LA. Some great hats in this one gents.

Man, I need to see that film! (Especially since I've got a lobby card for it.)

Metropolis (1927) on Blu-Ray. Amazing and highly recommended. Still feels totally original - can see why its influence has lasted so long.
