So I need glasses for reading up close now and eye doctor prescribed bifocals. I have contacted Shuron to try a couple of pairs- curious to see if I will like the Ronsirs. Has anyone had any luck finding vintage styles like this or similar at most of the retail outlets for eyeglasses?? I want a vintage style but comfort is gonna be important too as I have never worn glasses other than sunglasses. Wonder if there are some modern styles that still have that Vintage vibe?? I need something that will compliment a wider and longer face. I am 6" 4' and have a slightly larger than normal face

I'm just not sure yet whether my insurance will pick up the cost- ordering from Shuron??

To answer your last question, my insurance picked up about 75% of the cost of the Shuron frame which suprised me, I was expecting 0%. All I had to do was fax them a receipt.

I was a little hesitant about mail ordering eyeglass frames do to sizing etc., but my experience with Shuron was excellent. They'll send you, I believe, up to 3 frames for you to try. You pick the one(s) you like and send the remainder back. You will have to pay for return shipping.

Edit: I missed the last part of your question but I'm also just shy of 6'4". These frames work fine, I ordered the lenses with a slight tint and auto-sunlight-darkening(I can't think of the proper term right now)

Does it say on your Shuron frames where they are made?

Regards,

Harry.
