Chinaski, Yes, it's not a crease I have in anything else really, this one just went that way. It's tagged as a 7 fit is spot on for me, and looks good on too!

Just acquired a very nice "Featherweight" and I am wondering if there are any definitive dating guides for them? For instance, this one has an un-reeded sweat. Is this indicative of a '40s hat as it sometimes is in say a Stetson? No pics yet......again my least favorite part of the forum life.....but needed! Soon....soon!

Thanks for those ads, looks like I have an early 50's Featherweight on my hands. The 1951 to 1954 models look the same, so I'm not 100%, but it's a nice hat in a great color, I do know that for sure!

I have the same hat. There were originally made by the LaSalle hat co. Mine is my default hat for casual wear. It's a great hat of good quality. Wear it in good health, and enjoy it as much as I do mine. Consider it a bargain.
