Nicely put! :)
(except the "never" in the "never smoking"). I smoked.. I stopped. Yay! :)

Maybe this question does not belong here (if not, PLEASE put it where it's appropriate):
WHEN did you (or when should I) start using Q10? Antioxidant? Anti-aging? Hmm??

(Oh, yes.. I'm 25, so..)

I guess no one wants to answer my previous question.. :)

Anyway: NO. (on the "gel on natural nail" thing). It ALMOST destroyed my nails. Not that my friend sucked at putting gel on me.. but there was something about that gel. It appears that I was allergic to it.. :( I had to have it removed, and I now have filed nail plates that look like I haven't eaten ANY vitamin-rich food in decades.. :(
Of course, this way MY PERSONAL experience.. I'm sure others had it better than me.

Well, I'm 41 and haven't even considered them... But then I get a facial four times a year and have since I was 27 and moisturise morning and evening without fail. I have better skin now than when I was 25. :)

I'm 36 and regularly get carded when purchasing alcohol, which tells me I still look under 30. If you eat lots of brightly-colored fruits and vegetables, you're already getting antioxidants. I started using an anti-wrinkle night cream about 3-4 times a week about 4 years ago. Using sunscreen, avoiding smoking, and eating/drinking properly probably have a greater impact on your skin's appearance than anything else, but I did notice a small difference when I started using the anti-aging goop. I'm vain enough to persist based on that small difference, as I was starting to notiec fine lines around my eyes.

I'd say start using those sorts of products when you notice a change in your appearance.

Hmm.. I still look like a kid (see my picture.. with the puffy cheeks).. but you can also see I've got some under eye circles going on.. any ides how to make them leave me alone (yeah, I know I look like I need MORE SLEEP, it's not that..) ;)

Does it EVER go away? The saggy blackness that makes me look like a raccoon?? :(

I think that one of the major causes of under the eye circles is allergies. If you have seasonal allergies, a good medication that treats your allergies can help, but it can only do so much.

Best beauty decision: Simplify my beauty routine. Wash my hair once a week, cut down on my use of soap on my face, and cut out most of the commerical beauty products I use. I now can stay out of the stinky hair care and skin care aisles at the store. I feel really liberated. (And I'm saving money!)

What sort of facial?
(Yes, to moisturize ones skin is key to a healthy glow)... I've just sounded like a commercial. :)

Nothing fancy, I suppose. Deep cleaning, peeling, removing blackheads, a face mask and then a nourishing cream. I usually go the extra mile and throw in a face massage too, as it is sooo relaxing. I've been seeing the same woman since I started, so I know she'll do a wonderful job and usually fall asleep as soon as the massage begins. :D

Hmmm...so many. Probably to not wash my hair every day! It looks so much better not washing it all the time.

Also, I stopped colouring my hair in 2003. I love my natural hair colour now, but use to not be so fond of it.

Also, it's probably more of a 'health decision' than a beauty one, but losing a lot of weight was a really good decision.

To cut my long hair. Seriously getting ready now is far easier for me now that it only brushes my shoulders and sets stay far longer for me. I only wash my hair every three days, For under eye circles, retinol cream works wonders, Also I found out I am highly alergic to gluten, cutting that out completely the racoon eyes have almost completely gone away.

wouldn't doubt your dark circles are caused by a depression in the under eye hollow, which makes them look darker then they are. You may need a more modern solution...such as hyaluronic acid to even out the depression
