sorry for the slightly large post, but here is some of my '''art'''. I'm a graphic designer by trade, but
illustrating politically or society based is a passion of mine.

My self-promotion newspaper I made for my final-exams (and my businesscards in the corner)

Another poster (swan comes from the fact that the logo I designed is a swan too) Picollo depicted.

I must not have noticed this thread before and I think it has given me the jolt I need to finish this painting which has remained in this 95% completed state for about 6 years!

I became confused and unable to figure out the leg positions in the centre of the picture and put it aside for.....well....6 years!

I recently started work on a series of vintage style travel posters for fictional locations.

This one is for the "Firth of Fifth", a place that appears in a song by the band Genesis.

Does anyone have any ideas for any fictional locations from early 20th C novels/movies/songs?

I'm going to have to visit this forum more often. Some great stuff in this thread.

This is a poster I did recently for a local theatrical troupe.

Since I love autumn SO MUCH, and I love making calendars:

IMG_4094.jpg

Hand made (drawn..). I make one each month. September (yes, it's "September" in Cyrillic) is the first month of autumn, hence the leaves.
..and the days of the week are in "Art deco" font. ;)

...
Now, I'm planning the "October" page. lol

I occasionally recreate album covers and do other photomanipulations, as well as some illustration. Naturally, in a vintage style! :)

Here are a couple of Genesis (the band) themed recreations:

Wow, great thread, I need to look through all of it eventually.

Dave your stuff is great, and I particularly appreciate the Genesis tribute. Peter Gabriel and Steve Hackett, the best years right?
Did you take the original photographs of the models?
