This one was easy and comfortable. I rode one in Petra (pre-fedora) that bounced me all over the place. it might have been due to the speed at which it walked, I just don't know. But I really enjoyed the slow pace of this camel. My wife and I have been joking about the color of this one...a blond.

Hey Al, only you would travel all the way to Florida just to get a couple more days to wear your nice Panama!
Meanwhile, up in the North, I recently rescued this Penny's Marathon from the polluted waters of that bay. When I opened the box it was pretty dirty, crumpled and the liner was rather nasty. I didn't know whether to throw it away with the packaging, give it away or send back to the seller (to be fair he hadn't misrepresented it at all, it was a BIN at an odd time of the day and I only had my phone to check out his photos).
So this morning, I fished it out and it cleaned up nicely. I blocked it to open crown and added my favorite crease style (which is why the hat is wet in the photo from distilled water spray) and the liner is soaking happily in my sink, having revealed a really cool logo.
