Beak, a question.

For the Knox, your auction says 22 3/8" for a size 7 3/8 hat. I wear a 7 3/8, and my head and hats are 23". You seem to be about a 7 1/8, and you say this hat is too big. Have you measured correctly?

Aparently I cant type, it measures 22 7/8"

Edit: that was my only error, thanks for pointing it out.

You got me all worried, I went and measured them all again, lol

Yes, 22 3/8 would be a little tight on my 7 1/8 LO, head as opposed to the unwearably large Knox listed is on me. When I last measured I'm 22.5.
