It's not often I wear vintage these days, saying that it's technically two year out side the more popular era also been 1961, still it vintage and what the heck! , slightly out of focus
What else oh yes the shoes are not vintage
Every thing else you see is vintage from the 1960's.

My wintercoat (vintage with a fox fur collar, but not that old), the hat is 1930's. Purse probably 1960's. The shoes are new. Oh well, it's all about combining and trying to get the right look, isn't it? I love winter by the way, finally the opportunity to wear fabulous coats and lots of leather gloves and felt hats

This is not a good pic or me or the dress, but it's my fav vintage 30s gown. Silk velvet with square studded areas at the neckline and sleeves. Cut on the bias with slit balloon sleeves. I'm also wearing my 1930s marcasite butterfly brooch. Wish I had a better pic.

This dress takes me back to my high school years in the early 70's when my grandfather found a similar one in the trunk of a used car he had bought. It was velvet, also, but burgundy. I wore it until it nearly fell apart, then mistakenly lent it to a "friend" who never returned it.

Oh no!! Damn friends who never return things!! I have a friend in the LA vintage scene that has the same dress as this except it is blue. We are both amazed that there are two dresses made by the same company that still exist! Mine even has the original belt.

I always think it is amazing when I see a 'twin' of something vintage! One of my friends has a dress she wore at the evening reception of her wedding and she saw the same dress with the same label for sale a few years later (a 1930s burgundy velvet dress, sleeveless in the classic 30s cut/style). I've also seen another identical dress to one she owns and thought she had put it up for sale (she hadn't) and just recently the twin of an amazing smock she owns with cherry applique came up for sale. I wish I could have afforded to buy it so we both had one, but it was $$$$$, whilst hers was quite cheap. Still, we did marvel over it.

I suppose we forget that clothes were off-the-peg and lots of women had the same thing back then too - or at least, I do! Still, it's amazing that two of the same thing have both survived!
