Nice pics everyone.

I wore my suit (Land's End year rounder, tailored fit jacket, regular pants) in public for the first time. Church, and then lunch afterwards. It wasn't uncomfortable feeling, and I wanted to get used to wearing one for a while. I'm normally a bit more casual in church, khakis and collared shirts, sometimes jeans. I won't always wear a suit, but sometimes I might.

The last picture's a bit off, because I was standing at an angle, but while the fit's not perfect, it's serviceable. I'm not about to get another suit, as I'm hoping this will last three to four years.

Had the first of several holiday parties to go to tonight.

Trying hard to channel Clark Gable...first chance to wear my 1935 tweed action back sportcoat I got from fellow Lounger Resortes!, with my Winter Wonderland tie (I also got from Resortes), Vintage 1940s Dobbs 20 hat, bespoke linen trousers from a vintage pattern, and my little guy! (who was of course more popular with the ladies...)

Though I was put to shame by my other half...

Her again with another 1950s dress she'll wear at the next party.

They are vintage Florsheim leather and canvas...more summery, but I love to wear them all year (even when my feet freeze). Picked them up in Texas last year for $5!
