You posted that he was visiting home and was feeling under the weather for a short while. I was just wondering what branch, as this time of year brings to mind those who protect our freedoms and way of life and the families that sacrifice their time, efforts and worries to make sure these soldiers are safe and well cared for.:)

He's back on base now and doing well. I'm very proud of him :)

I just stopped in long enough to make sure everyone is okay. It looks like except for a few sniffles that all is well. I hope you were all able to spend some time with loved ones over the holidays. We've been enjoying spring-like weather here in Indianapolis, but that appears to be coming to a quick halt. Snow is in the forecast for tomorrow. My life is totally insane at the moment. I'm fine, but busier than two people ought to be for another few weeks. Happy New Year to all. I'll be back when things calm down.

I'm about 35 mi. northeast of Indy. Yep..up here..we are going to get it too...with blowing wind in the 20s...not counting wind chill. I dread it...but we've been lucky so far this year.
