Very cool! :eusa_clap I agree on the SB vs DB thing. They are easier to pull off nowadays and more versatile.

But the DB 1930s suit you posted before is so neat... I am envious.

I have to remind myself that I get to wear pearls and heels, even if suits will never look as good on me.

Headed out to dinner. I want to make a quick plug for the Cordial Churchman, a mom and pop from SC who handcraft bowties for very reasonable prices. The one I am sporting today is a wool number I received from them this week. I have four of their bowties - their patterns are classic, and they will do virtually any shape you want. Beautiful, Emily. Nice to know women with such taste as those of you who post on the FL exist somewhere. Anthony, are you impressed with the quality and fit of Tyrwhitt shirts? Their catalog seems to have found me. Their shirts are certainly more varied in color and pattern than what I usually poke through at BB.

Yes, I am pleased with mine; I would say that they are probably at the lower end of Jermyn Street quality, but a perfectly acceptable shirt and good value for money if you can get them at sale rates. The fact that they offer a range of sleeve lengths is good, and I find their standard cut is roomy enough to be comfortable. I also like T.M.Lewin shirts, which are around the same quality and price point, with the added bonus that they offer tunic shirts, and also that there is a sale shop near me...
