Unbelievably great hats today everyone, I only had the chance to poke my nose in a couple of times today so impossible to keep up.

Those little lab pups sure do grow fast!

No, not down in N'awlins, just North Carolina. Friends of ours have hosted a Mardi Grass party for more years than I can remember. The whole neighborhood turns up, the kids run and play and the grown ups get to socialize. This winters’ weather has been kind of mild for us. Last year it was freezing rain and the year before there was ice on the ground. Saturday night was nice and mild with temps in the 50’s so it was perfect. Sunday we got a cold front with rain and a “wintery mix” of ice and sleet thrown in.

Inspired by the Stetson Stratoliner conversations of late to wear my green Strat. this morning. We got snow! Not a ton, just 5", but snow. Playing outside with the dogs after shoveling, chores, dog walk and a run. I love these type of winter mornings. Still wearing running clothes, but waundering by the lake and thru the yard in my hat. Not styling, just enjoying my style.

Our dogs enjoy playing and enjoying the wet new snow. They do not mind my eccentricities or lack of style. Got to love them! I need to get to work and stage a hat/dog shot.
