Pink Squirrel:
3/4 oz creme de noyaux
3/4 oz white creme de cacao
1 1/2 oz heavy cream

Pour into a cocktail shaker with ice and shake to a samaba beat. Strain and pour into a cocktail glass.

Grasshopper Cocktail:

3/4 oz cream
3/4 oz creme de cacao, white
3/4 oz green creme de menthe
Prepare as above cocktail Both of these you can adjust the proportions of the liquors to your taste. :p

Thanks for sharing...I'm going to try these this weekend.

An Old Fashioned, made with a "dirty" brown rum.
A kinda spiked Dry Martini, with Old Raj Gin and a Vermouth which name I can't seem to remember.
To many beers...

Ended up on the couch, fiesting on delivered pizza and watching re-runs of The Wire.
The Missus is currently in the Canary Islands, and a mans gotta do etc...

I gave up alcohol for lent.

Good luck Tom, I'm a weasel about lent and New Year's Resolutions. In 2007, I gave up McDonald's. I HATE McDonald's burgers etc. I finally went back to McD's in August 2009 because somebody from work wanted to go.

On a side note, the yuppie bars (or whatever you call a 20 year old's meat market these days) in Wichita are now serving Pabst. Takes me back to High School.

Later Y"all

I think it is but at about $200 a bottle they can keep it. :p I used the regular Dalmore for the Old Fashioned.
Can I get Nolet's here? I understand that The Botanist is a decent Islay Dry Gin. Have you tried this?

Both Nolet's Gins are made for the US market, the Silver is about $50 a bottle, Nolet's Reserve is around $700.
The Botanist is OK but not worth a hefty price tag.
