Ladies,

I am thinking of buying this purse this week (off Craigslist). Just from the sheer shape (and extra shoulderstrap), how would you date it? Not down to a T of course... it's a Whiting & Davis.

Nice bag! Looks like you would get a lot of use out of it - my guess would be it's from the 80's - have you decided to buy it?!

Thank you Bunny! The gingham number is gorgeous too - Seafolly has some great designs - I had to double check - and check again - just to make sure I was buying the one I wanted!

That is a truly beautiful dress DP! I can never find dresses i love in my size - they always end up being my sisters' size -_- and so end up being her dresses.

Late 50s/early 60s black taffeta dress

Bettie Page Captain flare in red. I already have the navy, but couldn't resist it in red!

More vintage dresses, including a late 40s red plaid dress. I've been wanting one for ages and came across one in my size. It even has a velvet bow. Meant to be mine!

I got lucky and won this Swirl I really wanted, as I don't see black ones very often

I also got this Anthropologie eyelet blouse, for which I have a few outfits planned already

Drappa - thank you! I won't be going anywhere sunny for a few months but best to be prepared I reckon! Loving the Swirl dress and I had my eye on that ASOS skirt too - a lovely print.
