The man with Bogart's face!

Any one here ever saw the 1980 film "The Man with Bogart's Face"? I just saw this movie and got the willies! This guy looks JUST LIIKE BOGART! He even sounds like him! It's CRAZY!

Here are some publicity shots for the film... no, that isn't the real Bogart, that part was played by Robert Sacchi, the funny thing about this film is they found a guy who looked like Bogart... there isn't any serous makeup enhancement, that guy just looks like Bogart!!! In the film, he even drives a 1940 Plymouth... it's a riot!

I agree, he does have that Bogart look that is for sure.
Another one that you might want to check out is the one by Tales from the Crypt. They actually use Bogart's real image in the episode, which was fairly easy since he plays a corpse through most of the episode.

Yeah, I know... the ties were bad but, the suits he wore weren't bad copies for 1980... it's interesting they didn't dig up some original goods... at that time, vintage was easy to get and dirt cheap! But, that mug of his... dead ringer for Humphrey!

Wow! Look at that first photo. The guy does have a Bogey look going on.
I ahve not seen the film but will add it to my "must see" list.
Btw, is this the guy who played Bogey in Play it Again Sam? Woody Allen was in the film....

I picked up a copy a few years ago in the bargain bin, it's an amusing low budget film, I think paid about three bucks for my copy.

As I recall Sam Marlow's car could have used a valve job & a set of rings.

Yeah, that Plymouth needed a little work... it smoked like a chimney!

I enjoyed the movie, it was amusing as you put it, it's just such a trip that this guy looks so much like Bogart!

There is another guy, Jerry Lacey that does a Bogart look a like too.

I'm surprised no one mentioned George Raft being in The Man with Bogart's Face....I'll have to look through my box of old video tapes, and roll this one tonight.

From what I remember Bogart's son looks a lot like him.

The resemblance is uncanny! Though Bogie is, somehow, more handsome. Bogart carried that face well.

In a number of documents dating back to this period, both are described as "mulatto". They were the sons of a Dutch seafarer by the name of Jan Jansen who had "turned Turk" and a concubine he had while trading in North Africa before his conversion to Islam.

They were the ancestors of the Vanderbilts, the Whitneys, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis (daughter of "Black Jack" Bouvier) and Humphrey Bogart.
