I apologize for the ebay linjk but it shows a new tag for Cooper. If anyone knows more about this please post. The tag is not the Saddlery, nor the orange tag; it has a black tag with a deer (or a dog LOL ) does not look like a real AF issue as the stock number is bogus but a cool looking jacket...nice russet color looks like same old pattern though...

Yeah, pretty cool looking jacket. It's interesting how the one tag reads Goatskin and the other tag reads Horsehide. Maybe Atticus can shed some light.

Not bad for a Cooper-tagged item. Are they both the same - or one HH and one goat?The pocket flaps look just like some USWings models...

It's not a new Cooper label, although this one is NOS. Looks like the seller mixed up photos or either the paper tag or cloth label has the wrong hide printed. I've seen these before on ebay, in goat and horsehide. There was an ebay seller a couple of years ago who had several of these in horsehide, mainly in larger sizes. They stated that there were a limited number of these Coopers made in horsehide for a company that ended up canceling the order after Cooper had already made them. This seller bought them and sold them on ebay until all were sold.

I've had a fair few goat jackets over the years, what I noticed was all mine have had that pebble effect to the surface, this looks smooth, more like it whinny's than bleats.

I got one of these Coopers A-2's that's pictured, off of Ebay, several months ago or longer and they're beautiful but short in length and I would have had to order 2 sizes larger after I tried it on so I'm kind of wondering if they're an Import because I've got a size 48 school type jacket with the leather sleeves that I bought off the rack and I just received a beautiful Gibson & Barnes goatskin A-2 off the rack type fit and they both fit like a size 48 should.

They are labeled "R" so that's prolly why. The numbers are short compared to my 48's.

The stock number shows a 2001 contract date, so definitely not "new" by any stretch.
