I especially love the first one with the 2 suited ladies. I love the low healed spectators with the suit! But one question? Election day 1941 in Sweden? The germans let them have an election during occupation? Just wondering!~

We were never occupied. Germany invaded Norway and Denmark, but not us. We were "neutral" throughout the war (read: terrified of Germany), so we had elections as usual. The Social Democrats were the biggest party without competition in that election (and have been ever since), so the Social Democratic leader Per-Albin Hansson continued on as Prime Minister, which he'd been since '36 (and before that, from '32-'36).

I don't know what it is, but this reminds me of LizzieMaine. It doesn't really look like her (LM is way more attractive), but something about it does. I think it might be the hair and glasses (???)

I think those are exactly the same glasses as I have, although I don't think hers are quite as thick as mine -- I don't think *anybody's* are as thick as mine.
I'm quite intrigued by her hat -- amazing what can be done with a strip of felt, a handful of netting, and a pair of scissors!
