I used the link too, and even though it was past the cut-off time, and I had to resubmit my info three times, it seems to have worked. Thanks for sharing.

Hooray! I just treated myself to the new powder. I missed out on Lucky Deals, but at least I had a free shipping code. I am looking forward to this lovely looking powder!

Anyone know of any places that still have the original lipsticks? I just found out that they have been repackaged but I found the smaller size to be apart of it's charm.

Wouldn't the originals be quite old by mow? I have thrown all mine out. They were drying up and acquiring an odd look. After a few years their life span has ended and the bigger sizes have been in production for about 2 years or more I think.

And they get a funny smell, too, when they're old. Not good. I wish they'd go back to the smaller models, too. They were something special.

I just placed an order this morning! So excited! :D I bought:
- Classic color lipstick, Merlot
- Vintage alluring eyeshadows in Black Pearl, Peacock Blue
- Brightening violet powder

I was also ordering a few other things on Amazon and bought the Boudoir sun-kissed rouge for $8.

I am so excited and can't wait to try everything.

I just picked up the violet powder - 25% off at BabyGirlBoutique. Can't wait to try it!

Bunny, would you mind sharing your link to that (so I can buy some :D)? I've been sneakily inspecting the Besame site and this thread and I would love to try the violet powder. I googled for the site you mentioned and it's a US site selling it for $22 with no indication of 25% off...

I know right now the Besame site is offering free shipping if you purchase 3 items. I was going to order several anyway so it worked out nicely. I've heard people say their shipping is quite costly!

I received 2 of my items today - the 2 I ordered from Amazon. I got the Boudoir sun-kissed rouge, and the Black Pearl eyeshadow. These are my first Besame products aside from the 1930s mascara. I love the packaging, adorable! The rouge is tiny and vintage-sized. The eyeshadow is the same size, and a pretty generous size for a single shadow, comparable to MAC or Urban Decay. I haven't tried them yet, but can't wait!

My only complaint so far is that the metal containers are a little tough to open!

I visited the boutique in Burbank yesterday finally. Very cute. Gabriella told me that very shortly a limited edition lipstick and scarf set will be offered. The scarf is beautiful, by Kenley Collins and the lipstick matches the red roses. She described the llipstick to be redder and more vibrant than the Besame Red. So, if you are interested make sure you are signed up for the newsletter.
I got the violet powder, red velvet lipstick, lip liners, mascara and then had to get out before I had one of everything.

I'd love to try the Violet powder, but being in the UK makes it so expensive! 22 USD is a fair price, but all the US sites charge at least the price of the powder to ship, which is insane (it'd probably cost about ten bucks). And all the UK sites that stock it charge £22, which is a pretty big price difference! Sigh... hoping someone comes out with a dupe, but even so the packaging won't be anywhere near as lovely! :(

DO TELL more about the boutique! I work not too far away, and was wondering if it's worth eating up a lunch hour by going over to the boutique!

The boutique is small with the line on display. I visited to get my mekeup in person instead of risking the shipment in this extreme heat we are having. Gabriella was there and was very helpful and friendly. I also got a few trial size things I wasn't expecting. I'd say its worth the lunch hour.

^ How fun! I would love to visit the boutique if I'm ever in that area.

I received the rest of my order today - the violet powder, another eyeshadow, and the merlot lipstick. Love!!!
