I always kinda pulled for him...a little...in To Kill A Mockingbird. I'm not sure where he came by his insight, but he played his part well. A bit disheveled, arrogant and downright cavalier, with his leg slung over his chair arm during cross examination. He sure had the small-town, Southern prosecutor down pat.

I love how he tells her she is going to be successful in her career- how successful he could never guess. I never knew she had so many children either.
