- Detachable collars seem a practical aid to laundering, and not a cunning method of suicide by jugulating yourself
- You actually WANT handkerchief's for Christmas
- You loathe teabags and go hunting for loose leaf
- You refer to countries and cities by long gone names (Siam, Formosa, Salisbury)
- You think that having a symbol for 1/2 and 1/4 on your typewriter makes vastly more sense then ~, > or }
- You have an umbrella, but never use it in the rain for fear of messing up the perfect furling (and if it does rain, use the umbrella to hail a taxi)
- You remember to put the apostrophe in front of 'bus

  • You get annoyed if there isn't a person on the other end of the phone call
  • You have a computer for work and Fedora Lounge
  • When you plan a trip to the city, you first find the hatters and then the sites of interest
  • Tipping is mandatory

Ooh- to add onto that-

You plan vacations based on where good flea markets are.

(not that I've done that or anything ;) )

Actually, they weren't Apple. They were standard PC with wooden screens, keyboard and CPU in mahogany & oak, and they were VERY expensive. I remember seeing them a few times on LA Law and similar.

The first Apple I prototype that Wozniak built had a wooden case. There are some online vendors that sell wooden PC cabinets that would probably come up with a google search. Actually it would probably not be hard to build such a thing if you can put a box together. Or you could do what I always think about doing, buy a Mac Mini and put it in an big old radio :)

EDIT: Oh, I thought of one last night: when you fall over a crack in the sidewalk, you instinctively grab your hat instead of trying to break your fall, and you are more worried about ripping your vintage FF stockings than smashing your knee ;)
