What Did You Drink Last Night?

Actually went to the bar last night. Had a few Blue Ribbons and caught up with some friends. Had a nice time. My buddy and I loaded up the Jukebox with Johnny Cash, Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, and the Kendalls. None of that heavy stuff for us!

One Too Many
Yesterday should've been a session day, but didn't end that way.

Started out with a pint of some apparently-nameless chocolate stout from Oakshire Brewery here in Eugene as I settled in to watch the Civil War at a local pub.
Game went terrible, and I moved onto a bomber of Black Jack Imperial Chocolate Pumpkin Porter after some wings and chili cheese fries. Game kept getting worse, so I finished that and went home.
Had a Jubelale whilst watching Stanford manhandle UCLA to deny the Ducks a Rose Bowl bid (so, here's to that on rivalry weekend), while keeping an eye on the Gators-Seminoles and, later, South Carolina-Clemson.
Moved on to The Abyss for Notre Dame's curiously impotent display of Michigan-styled "three yards and a cloud of dust" in their victory over USC. I think I was supposed to be a Trojans fan for that one, but Wittek couldn't pull it out.

Now I have a fresh cup of coffee as I sit here, quite chilled on this late November morning, waiting for the NFL to gear up for the day...

Good day! I am down at the boat house with my brother having one of our favorite seasonal beers, Grand Teton Black Cauldren ( http://www.grandtetonbrewing.com/BCIS.html ). I put the beer, my hat and a bottle on a side table to show this fav micro beer for the cool early winter months.

We have started the barbeque and siping the beer. Shortly we will head to the house in a bit to pick-up the meal's fixin's to put on the heated grill. Good food!

Thanks, Eric -

Hi

I went to the Dublin Pub in Springfield Illinois last night. They have Guinness and Harp on tap. I had a couple of Guinness and a couple of Guinness / Harp Black and Tan's. I also had a Reuben sandwich with Green beans cause I'm a health nut. I don't even wanna know how many calories that was.

Hi James

The Black and tans were good. Harp may be Irish Miller, but in general Irish, British, and German beer is much better than American Beer. IN GENERAL.... The darn Mexican's export their crap beer (Corona) and many American's actually buy it. Getting your richer annoying neighbors to buy your garbage is quite an accomplishment. Consider me impressed.
