Looks great on you! I love the diamond point style! I also started a good collection at a Belk clearance sale!

I bought this one diamond point, just to see if I liked them on me. I completely fell in love with the material, and ordered a couple more wool ones. The shape is growing on me too, though.

The suiting wool tie "suits" me. That made my morning........

As I would hate to see this thread fall off the first page; Here is the one I wore out to dinner last night. It's a "Saddlebred" brand from Belks, bought on clearance for $12.95

Nothing special, but nice and bold, and pretty good quality for the price!

There is no doubt that you can pull off wearing a bow tie.
As the kids say, like a boss.

(They probably said that last year)

For interested FL'ers, I post the score of the UCLA - Southern Cal football game. Bruins 38, Trojans 28. I post this here, instead of over in the We Only Win Every Six Years thread, because of a.) BR Gordon, and b.) the fact I wore my school colors bow tie and we won.

Finally bought my first bow tie today for £1.99 at the local charity shop, I actually asked if they had any cravats but when she checked she turned up a nice bow tie and a pair of button on braces (suspenders). Please excuse the ensembles I just threw something on to see what looked good with the tie.

Penney's has some narrow ones from J. Farrar. I like to go minimal sometimes... inspired by old photos of situations where a man "couldn't not wear any tie at all" but wasn't dressing up.
However, each one I saw from J. Farrar had a portion of the decoration in glitter. Sparkles, that is. Not really what I want.

Yesterday's offering for Bow Tie Friday, a Christmas bow tie given as an early Christmas present by the Missus. Present but not seen are the Christmas tree cuff links, given at the same time.

Loving the Christmas bow tie Wally. Perfect for Christmas Day, which is when I intend to wear mine next.
