Yes, my Johnson modified M-200 has the 4" leather strip. I think I really prefer it to the corduroy. It adds some lower back support for riding as well.

I should have said both of my Johnson Leathers jackets (M-200) have the 4" strip. i wore my heavy MC jacket today, and will wear it this afternoon as I exercise my Hound and ride my fence lines. I have worn it almost everyday since the first part of September, trying to get it broken in. Not even close yet. It still stands on its own. I can say it is no longer uncomfortable to wear, but it is taking its own sweet time to soften. But that is OK as my riding season won't be here until March.

So - let's think about this.

There are two ways to do it. Shove some leather in, or shove some Cord in. Both do pretty much the same job - a wearing surface, and a barrier to stop the lining falling down.

Aero used to offer either solution.

The leather was £50. The Cord was FREE.

They probably profited from the first option. They certainly didn't from the second. Still the extra work to fit it.

And yet they RECOMMENDED the second. Get a Cord strip for (as we say in England) nowt.

So come on guys. The Cord works. You can't see it when the jacket is on.

And there is a world recession taking place.

Let's help Aero Leather help US to save some money......:D;):eusa_clap
