Could anyone recommend good books about Jean Harlow?I've recently become interested in her and her life. What would be the most accurate? Thank you!

I would recommend David Stenn's Bombshell: The Life and Death of Jean Harlow. He also wrote the best biography of Clara Bow, Runnin' Wild. They are both extensively researched, and he really tries to get into their backgrounds to discover what made them the way they are and why the public was so fascinated by them. Both are fantastic reads, and because of all the research he did, Stenn is considered something of an expert on these two women and is regularly consulted for documentaries and such.

I'd be interested to know how differently the books show William Powell. I've read some Harlow articles that make him a villain for not marrying Jean and others as deeply bereaved when she died.
Let us know what books you read and what you recommend.

Sincerely,
The Wolf
