This is a beautiful hat I just put up for auction. I would keep it because this is not a color that comes across very often. The hat's a bit too tight for me so I decided to see rather then keep it stored away. I also didn't want to have it stretched to preserve the integrity of the hat. The only thing I could find so far is an old Stetson ad for the hat which I included with the listing. I would like to know more myself. It was really a nice hat. I don't want to think about it too much or I will regret having sold it.

If you check my link out again you will see the ad which is from 1940. The hat could very well be from the 30s based on the ribbon and sweatband. I don't know when Stetson introduced the model or how long of a run it had. Maybe someone more familiar with early Stetsons knows.
