Hello!
First post here!
Anyways, I am recently interested in finger waves. I went to Sally's Beauty Supply and purchased several wave clips. As soon as I went to use them, they would break. They are very cheap and only two out of the eight I purchased are stable! I am returning them, but also would like clips that will help me to achieve this look! (I like doing wet sets)
Do you know of any substitute clips?
OR
Do you know where I can get GOOD quality clips?
I'm kind of scared to put out good money unless anyone suggests a good brand!!

I got my vintage ones at an antique store for $5 and they are extremely sturdy! I looked around later, and that's about what they're worth. So you may try ebay or etsy, and go vintage. :D

I got really lucky and bought a box of excellent quality 5" ones on Ebay a few weeks ago. It's difficult to find sturdy wave clips. Sometimes it's just pot luck. Keep looking and you are sure to come across better ones soon, just like I did :) In the mean time, plain sectoning clips should hold the waves in place adequately. Here is the link to the ones I bought: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/370762680062 The seller is: jimbobsjoblots and they are in the UK. I've asked the seller if they are getting any more wave clips in soon and will let you know :D

PS The seller got back to me and said they were out of stock (which I half expected) .... keep trying, there'll be finger wave clips out there for you somewhere :)
