Must have been a night for fried chicken. I had some at a party last night, although I pulled the skin off because of carbs. ;)
This was in addition to the beef tacos I made, and the left over fajita meat from the night before. When we make fajitas or tacos, we fix at least 3lb so there is always enough.

Taco Bell

We call it Taco Hell here. :p

And the customer reviews says it all. :p
though in all fairness, the McDonalds up the street gets a fairly good review

Taco Bell, 2940 New Pinery Road, Portage, WI

Overall Poor to fair
I went to see a movie in Portage and was planning on getting some tacos on my way home. I went through the drive through and the voice on the speaker had to introduce himself twice because he must have been talking about something more important than the customer to make certain that the order was correct. I was okay with it. The next thing I hear is, "Do you want fries with that?". In my experience a Taco Bell does not serve fries. Now, why would anyone that displays any type of intellect or professionalism say that if they don't serve fries there? They wouldn't. When I approached the window I asked, "Do you serve fries here?" to possibly justify his predisposition to being viewed as a completely incompetent moron. He said, "No we don't" with a large amount of laughter. I asked, "May I speak to your manager?" The manager never introduced herself. Unprofessional and apparently uneducated was my thought. I asked the manager, "Did you know that your employee was attempting to sell me fries, now you don't serve fries here, do you?" "No, I did not know anything about...I'm sorry" and then I said that I've worked in fast food and I would personally never treat anyone that way. At that point the manager had closed the window on me. Also very unprofessional. These people are the kings and queens of poor customer service. In summary, don't eat here. It's not worth the spit in your food taste.

Taco Bell was around in the 70's here, but not many of them.
They still had the sauce in those little containers, instead of the pouch like you see today.

Tonight it's pork chops and bratwurst.
I get broccoli and cheese, and the wife gets creamed spinach. (both microwave steamables).

I remember the early Taco Bell's with the mission style architecture and the fire pit in front. There's still quite few of the old buildings around.
