Eric- Thanks for the complements, I will have to try my hand at some daytime photo's. Just snapped a few last night under the 60 watt in the bedroom.

Smoothsailor- Congratulations on your 5th VS.:eusa_clap I like the ribbon treatment. The Dove felt certainly takes on different hues under different light conditions. What is the crown height on your latest?

Sweet lid! I like the black (?) ribbon with the oxblood. Any other specs on that one? And a head shot?

Finally, posting this has taken too long... My newest VS, in beaver whiskey felt, full dimensional brim and a nice tall crown.

Wow. Some hats looks demand attention and others motivate the user to "touch" the felt. This fedora has both characteristics. That felt looks "touchable." Extrordinary pouncing of the felt with your fedora. The whiskey colored felts must generally yield similar characteristics as many other pics of VS whiskey fedoras look like cousins.

I got to get me one of those!

You wear it well sir! The mixed swoop on the front brim is a style I expect when viewing your pics. Cheers!

Thank you, Eric.

I do agree that this one almost begs to be touched. The first shot, to my thinking, shows the felt/color/finish to be delicious! The mixed swoops are simply because I can't make up my mind. ;)

HatsRMe, that is really, really beautiful! a perfect complement to your head and face.

Smoothsailor-- I love it! I always enjoy the combo of a dress hat with some haggardly elements. The ribbon is awesome! Nice color choice and cool vents, too!

Pretty much sums up my feelings too Jeff. Nice additions to the thread guys and to hatband's new Oxblood as well.

I am not wearing this today, nor is it new. I did, however, really like this photo, so in honor of Fawcett Friday, I will post it here today!

Jeff's shot of his bluesmoke fedora (post #8460) is a terrific tribute to his handsome lid. Love that hat!

His pic reminds me of how fortunate VS owners are. Each hat is truly special. I had the pleasure to wear a VS felt today as we got a peep at Fall weather today in Minnesota. I was reminded of all the features that I really enjoy about Art's hats. I wore my VS Stratoliner inspired fedora in dove felt with charcoal ribbon and binding.
