new Magnavox console!

Hi All,

I just became a dad-again. Anyone have any info on this particular Maganvox? Looks like it is in good shape, I will have to send it out to have the electronics checked before I can turn it on. Also, anyone know a good phonograph repair shop-preferably in the bay area?

Boy can I pick em or what. Apparently they only made this style of needle cartridge for 9 months and then killed it. But, I was able to find two NOS cartridges for $20 ea. and a high end replacement generic for when the originals die.
