1940s Ladies Striped Tailored Jacket M

Vintage late 1940s ladies striped jacket. One of my favourite vintage jackets that I have been keeping for years, but it only ever fit me 10 years ago, so it needs to find a new home. Beautiful woolen blend jacket with amazing attention to detail so that all the stripes line up - even under the collar! Nipped at the waist with side hidden pockets and rounded lapels. Tailored buttonholes. The lining is a pinkish rayon. 'Mornessa' went on to be quite well-known in 1960s UK for their long jackets and furs. Such and elegant, flattering piece.
