This morning it has warmed up to 45'F and the sprinkles of rain have ceased. I am looking at the wet leaves in the yard and thinking of postponing yard clean-up until tommorrow. My Akubra Campdraft is keeping my head comfy while I contemplate the enormity of the yard clean-up. Hmmm....

Eric - you wear far nicer hats than I do for yard work, but then with the state of my garden anything that isn't bramble proof is at risk!

Thanks for the comments on yesterday's fit. Today was another mild one, and with no planned meetings I dressed down again. Another Christys' 8 piece melton wool:
For those of you with an interest in great literature, please note the circular plaque on the building at the rear of the shot. It commemorates Canterbury's true literary genius - no not Christopher Marlowe, but Mary Tourtel. If you're scratching your heads shame on you - she was the creator of Rupert Bear, and one day I will don a pair of yellow checked trousers.

SBG thanks for the compliment. I really like the crease and color of your campdraft. If you don't mind, what is that shade called? I am hoping to swing a new hat after the holiday expenses are met, and the CD is the #1 candidate.

Thats a nice pattern on the material, and the earflaps should come in handy soon enough.
HatsrMe the steel is a great color and I like the brim size a lot, a little more than a stingy but not to big to wear indoors. Great hat!

[huh] I think my wife has accepted the addiction; she has even made noises about possibly buying me hats in the future, but I don't think she's necessarily excited about it.

Thanks much, dh66! That brim is a dimensional 2-5/8". At my size (7-3/4 - 7/8) the brims seem to look smaller.
