I'm happy to see the renewed interest in this thread!

"Mr. No-Shoulders" is a local name for the Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake. It is the largest and heaviest rattlesnake in the world. Eight-foot specimens have been reported. Six-foot specimens are common. I have seen several five footers within a half mile of my house. Last spring, one used to lie on the road leading into our little neighborhood, almost daring us to run over him (or her). My neighbor finally did. I told my neighbor that he had made a mistake. Karma normally returns to bite one’s ass…I fear literally in this case.

Hi I'm trying to get information on the F-11 near Oak Grove. I have been researching this off and on for a couple years, i've spoke to locals but never found it. I've seen your thread where you've been there. Can you give me directions, Long and Lat, Location in reference to the river, anything to help me locate it. Thank You

I'm afraid that it is deep on private property...and the owner is a very private person. I visited the wreck as his guest.

Interesting post. if I remember correctly, there's a geocache set up nearby in memory of the story. As noted above, the plane itself is on private property, so the cache couldn't be located very near the wreckage.

In my defense, I haven't logged that cache and may be confusing it with another, similar site. We have one just up the interstate from my home. No wreckage remains, but the cache is there to remind others of the story.
