I love the '58 Continental! It's one of the coolest cars from the 50's I know of. I seen one at a carshow two monthes ago. I remember from the rear bumper looking forward, details at the front of the car were practically too far away to focus on. I think it was one of the longest unibody convertibles for a while. Not sure on the details, though.

Yeah the 50's and 60's had some amazing cars. A few weeks ago I took out our '69 Stingray *shivers* man that car is just...well yall understand what i mean hehe

'58 sans exhaust system

A high school buddy had one of these old Continentals. I do believe it was a '58. It was black and had suicide doors. It also was missing a muffler. It was quite a talent to try and ride quietly by the cops. lol

We used to pool our money together to buy a tank of gas so we could cruise around in it. I swear we could see the needle on the gas gauge go down when he cracked open the four barrel carb and fed the eight cylinders all the gas they could drink. It was quite a sensation to feel that behemoth lift up and take off.
