Hello loungers,

a lot of new jackets are presented in the last days. All are so beautiful and I´m happy with the guys about their jackets.
The feeling of opening the parcel and the first try one, was it worth to wait so long, ........
This time it was!!!


I´m proudly present my new Alexander Leather Arkansas:

The goatskin is very thick and soft and the seal has a red undertone, what can be seen on some of the photos. Size is 40 with 27 inches sleeve and a 26 inch back. Slimmed arms and I asked for higher armholes.

This is my first Alexander Leather and I´m very pleased with the result. The stitching is absolut perfect and you can see the high level of craftsmanship.

Loving the grain on the goat .... there's some mighty fine leathers out there from the various manufacturers

The goat is really great. It feels very strong and thick, but it is already soft. It will getting nicer and nicer in a short time. The jacket is not so heavy and i like it. It fits like a glove, but still comfortable.


The shoes are Red Wings, 100 years celebration model, with a modified heel.

Yes Seb, the goat is lovely and will look even better every day. I think goat is also very authentic for a jacket from the 30's.

The right sizing is always a game of chance Brett.I have had a lot of jacket in wrong sizes, always send them back or sold them. My last 5 jackets fit perfect and i know what lenght i need in the sleeves and n the back. First i was affraid ordering a 40 with such long sleeves and back. I'm 193 cm tall and have a weight of about 90 kg. I don't know what is the standard sleeve lenght for a 40, but i guess that they added 3 or 4 inches.

Wow Gancho, isn't size a strange thing? I'm 188 cm and 85 kilos (a touch smaller than you) and I wear a 44 which is a trim fit. I have no idea how you fit into a 40. Although I can fit a thin sweater under it, if I breath in deeply I fear the zip will rip open.

Sizing is really strange. I can't imagine how much it vary. Is your one an Alexander too?
I'm also able to wear a sweater under it, but than the sleeves are to tight. Telepfoning is then very uncomfortable.

Yep, mine is the same jacket. My sleeves are okay. They are trim, but I have never worked out in my life so my arms are fine in narrow sleeves.

I have one in the heavy oil pull steer, my favorite jacket. unfortunatly the arm holes are too high. i'm getting another one in the new HH they have once i get some funds together. it's a great design and fit.
