Mike I am definitely in on a 2 5/8" Tawny Fawn, Silverbelly, or Akubra Bran either one! And I appreciate you taking the time and putting in the effort to look into this. Thank you! Put me on the list!

I'm interested in any color except for Moonstone Grey & Bluegrass Green (I already have those colours)

I'd be willing to jump in for a silverbelly or tawny or taupe fawn. I have the BG with a shorter brim and it is definitely my favorite.

Crease it yourself. Put it on your head, find the center line, and work from there. I did the preliminary work with the hat dry, and then used steam generated by a teakettle. Others prefer to wet the hat with a spray bottle.

You can't go wrong. If you don't like the way it is going, knock out the crease and start again. You can't hurt it.

I did mine in a C-crown, which sort of splits the difference between a teardrop and a diamond.

I notified Sam a couple of days back about the black not working out. He is still waiting for Akubra to open to get us an answer on Bran or Fawn. Once I hear back I will pass along the news. If it is a go a new thread will be opened to collect numbers and share our interest.

For now we wait, but fawn/bran seem to be catching on nicely.

Finally took a couple pics of my Blue Grass Green campdraft.My first thin ribbon hat.I've had for awhile now,wear once a week.I'm still a wide ribbon guy but thin ribbons are slowly growing on me.

I've looked at the swatches-how would you describe bran? Natural bunny? Either way, I'm in for bran.
