Body Wave vs Tighter Perm?

I was wondering if just a wave might hold my sets as long as tight perms, as some days I don't feel like doing a set and would love to just have nice, loose curls/waves.

Good question I would love to know too. I would really like to get away from daily setting or sleeping in curlers.

I'm not sure if she posted in that thread but I believe she eventually got a "wave" and was happy with it, but suggested that women think carefully before getting a perm because it is an involved process.

ETA: Just re-read that thread and it talks about her getting her hair permed multiple times, as well as many many other ladies and their perms.
