I also have a Hat People Cap, a full cut Newsboy. While the bill is made of material with no cardboard it holds any shape perfectly while wearing. Love that cap but my wife hates it so I wear it around the house so she will get use to seeing me in it. It is my favorite cap.

I saw one your vids on simonds hats how do you like them, are they roomy or tight , I dont like the top smashed against my head

Hi Bro
the best & most important feature of a cap = correct size
if it does not fit correctly its junk, be it Bespoke or Factory hat, $ to $$$

With Simonds that's his priority & he is good at ! Johnny as well
when they ship they assure you that your fit is a priority.......
(but the purchaser need's to measure correctly & understand their head size & shape)
im a tough fit 57 1/2cm in between 7 1/8'' & 7 1/4'' & a LO (long oval)
so a cap can hurt if it was made round as most heads are not basically round.
& as for the top smashed against my head......not a problem with Simonds or Johnny
as I like most of my custom fedoras & some caps liner-less & I don't get my caps or hats dirty as there made well & don't smash against
my head ,,,, yea I hate that if you get that type of fit ,,,, a result of poor construction....

sorta like pants made nowadays low rise waist ball crushers & thigh chokers

unless you have a really weird shape head....

Barry knows im LO so he can make the bill fit great as well......

hope this helps....

I figured you make it to Canter's Che. I'm drooling here. I just saw it mentioned in a documentary the other night about Ricky Jay too. A real old school hangout. Inspiration must have been so much fun.

BRO,
blinders ok lol...
cant really say but I have put a few caps in a map/pistol pocket in a leather jacket....
Meaning I don't wear em like blinders but I have folded a Simonds cap including the bill & stuffed it in a map/pistol pocket..
& it was good to go when I wore it....flattened out...with no evidence of a crease
he can make the bill to your specs though whatever he uses in the bill is good stuff.

I have other caps that I do like curled but those are a different type cap...& some have a very wide bill almost ear to ear & 6 panels

I wear those like T Jones does 2 posts up & the bills are made of leather & fabric tightly sown over it....those I got in San Francisco
from AL's Attire.....

yea glad I was to the point, my modern tight pants comment I wont wear a cap that fit like that

I went to Inspiration last week in LA for my 5th year in a row
http://inspirationla.com/
the venue changed but I still stayed on the queen Mary in Long Beach a few days
http://www.queenmary.com/
I did not find any repop caps I really liked or vintage but the free Japanese Beer might have stalled my search
even at the Rosebowl flea mkt I didn't look hard enough I guess
http://rgcshows.com/Home.aspx
any way I had a great time & have enough caps to begin with

just sorting through some pics,
I met this cool cat named San & he knew me from here
he was working the HTC (Hollywood trading Co & Denim Doctors ) booth so he knows good stuff.
he was sporting a Cordova cap by Johnny J
& he wanted me to try it on

Resortes it was so cool to meet you & Barrio Dandy ! next time well hook up & maybe Johnny J will as well.
Ok Resortes also sported a Cordova cap & with Panache !!
