Hi Casehopper

Love the bow, did you do it yourself?

Hi Tedquinton, I did not. I bought this hat with the ribbon replacement already done by an older forum member Indycop who no longer seems to frequent this forum. I'm not sure whether he did it himself or had it done by someone else.

You've found it... welcome to the club!

Thank you, sir! I must admit, alanfgag, that your collection of beauties has created some of the greatest envy! I have come to believe that you are one of those gentlemen that could wear a mixing bowl and make it look like the height of fashion! I, quite unfortunately, cannot...but alas, I shall endeavor to strive ever onward!

Gawsh. I'm loving these bowlers, squatters, garrisons, other rain hats, campdrafts, Perry's sweet westerns, and that hepworth is absolutely stunning.

Thankfully Alan isn't wearing a mixing bowl today. The Stetson vita felt is just outstanding. Colors are superb. But I agree with the new guy: even if it was a mixing bowl, Alan would make it look good,! (The little round hat he displayed a few days ago actually didn't look half bad on him!) :)

This morning in "my office" with my vs Bobby blue... but I'm really feeling my buckaroo hatters Sahara bunny felt for a lunch meeting. Here it is in front of those blatty trombones, Ole. ;)

Hi Bowlerman

I can't quite make it out but that hat seems to have a really interesting bow. What colour is it ivory, silvermist?

Great hat.

Thanks Ted! It's Tony's sliver belly felt with silver belly ish ribbon. This hat is developing a lot of character quickly. Here's a better shot of the bow from Tony's shop.

Garrett - Lovely velour

Steve - very nice Mayser. I like the paler ribbon.

Jeff - I love the bow on that Tumwater.

Keith - great cap.

David - Great hat and outfit.

Perry - Interesting Ribbon.

ebonysw45 - Great to see another squatter. Looks great.

Tedquinton - I'm enjoying seeing Mike's work

Sam - I like that campdraft conversion.

Andy - must be a Raiders day. Looks good.

Joao - haven't seen that one for a while, it looks great.

Alan - very nice!

Baron - I'm very envious of that Hepworths, I've not come across another one.

igineer - great first post. The cap looks great. I've tried that style and it looked awful on me, but you'rs looks really good.

Jeff - a fine pair. I can't decide which I prefer, but both would happily fit in my collection :)

Mike - I wish I could find rejects like that! :)

---

Thanks for all the comments on yesterday's bowler. It's not the easiest of hats to wear, but it's a lovely hat...

Fed IV today - much easier!

My Jaxon Homburg - granted it's not the highest quality but it keeps the rain off and looks good enough to get numerous compliments on the way to work.

Good Afternoon Gents! Everyone is looking great today!

Baron K, Love the Hepworths! Very nice!
ingineer, Classic Stormy Kromer! You wear it well....and welcome to the Lounge!
bowlerman, both, your VS and Buckaroo, are nice!
Richard, I like the swoop on your Fed IV!
rclark, Classic OR, and I like the color!
mayserwegener, That is definitely classic. I really like the color and ribbon work on that one.

Getting ready to batten down the hatches here in Central Ohio...Another Winter storm is supposed to be heading our way. In the meantime, I'm sportin' my Knox 15 Westlite....(sorry for the poor picture quality. My other phone finally bit the dust. The picture quality on this one isn't as good).

Damn, TJones, that is a great looking hat.

Mayers - What a gorgeous color and ribbon on that hat. That's an "I'm going to the theatre" hat if I've ever seen one.

rclark - Way to wear that Open Road ala Texas.

Richard - Perfect ensemble as usual. As TJones says, cool swoop.

Mike - What was rejected? Looks like a cool ribbon et. al. on that hat.
