I haven't watched the new episode yet, but I'm almost ready to give up on this one. I've been interested in pirates for as long as I can remember--read several books, watched several movies (none of which were particularly accurate with regards to history)--and I've long thought if someone were to produce a movie or television series that was even close to being an accurate depiction of a pirate's life, audiences would be completely bored; I think Black Sails might prove me right, regardless of how the critics seem to love it.

It is very impressive, so much so I am again watching episode seven. I am very surprised and happy with McConaughey's performance as well the rest of the cast as well. Exceptional writing and directing make each episode intensely entertaining.

I remember bits and pieces to shows, but not the way they work out.
However, I can see an actor or actress, and give you a summary of their work (tv shows, movies, commercials).
But I can't tell you their name. [huh]
