Big Man, I'm a fan of your style - as you know from my other posts - and I love the Bond-like vibe you have going here, but your shirt collar is too big and it undermines the usual crispness your outfits have. All of your clothes, that I've seen in the past, fit you very well in a classic (not today's silly super-skinny) way, but this shirt collar makes it look like you rented a tux shirt. Again, love what you do overall, love the vibe of this outfit, just think the shirt collar is to big.

Hate to say it, but I have to agree with you on the shirt collar. I wear a 20" neck with a 40" sleeve, and that's a size not easy to find. The way this shirt was cut, the one I could find that with a 20" neck was way too tight, so I had to go "one size up" to be able to wear it at all. I'm looking for one that fits just right. Now, if only Natty Shirts would make a formal shirt ...

This was taken the Sunday before last on our big motorcycle ride up in Wyoming. I would like to say I was dressed vintage, but this is how I have dressed since the 60s to ride. 501 jeans, T-Shirt, saddlering boots, black motorcycle jacket and Ray Ban Club Clubmaster sunglasses. Man, with the buzz cut and the camera angle, I look like I am completely bald! :D

Nice out-on-the town ensemble, Big Man.
Tell us about the Lake Lure Inn; a place nice enough to warrant a white dinner jacket must be stylish.

The Lake Lure Inn opened in 1927. President Roosevelt (FDR), F. Scott Fitzgerald, and the like have visited there. In recent times, the movie "Dirty Dancing" was filmed there. It's a very nice place to go and relax. While white dinner jacket attire is certainly not the norm there, it was the perfect occasion for us to get dressed up and really enjoy an evening out. It's only about a 30 mile drive from where we live.

Here's a link for some more information: http://lakelure.com/

Here's a couple more photos from our night out at the Lake Lure Inn:

My son and daughter-in-law.

Enjoying a Grey Goose Martini, while my wife enjoys a Margarita (which I usually drink at least half for her). It's a hard job, but someone has to do it.

Ralph Lauren "1929" belted back linen cotton blend jacket with patch pockets (even has a cute Palm Beach rip off label on it). It seems to be quite correct in my opinion...even has the correct shoulder seam and higher arm holes I would expect to see in a late 20s jacket.
