Well, it's not vintage, but took a new Sig 2022 to the range today and it behaved just like a Sig should. Had a lot of fun making our 6" steel plates swing out at the 35 yard line.

Nice Sig Deacon. I had one of those in 40 cal several years ago but sold it. I am regretting that but I still have my P220 carry model.

In a buds gunsafe waiting for me to pick up.

Had one of these about 20 years ago and like a dolt, sold it. My old one was in 30/40 Krag. This one is 30/06 ctg. Browning copy of the 1895 Winchester from the mid 80's. Preparing "my" perfect hunting kit. This will be an important member. Better pic coming soon.

Sorry for my absence. Been experiencing some serious family medical concerns. Missed you guys!

Bob, I know about those! I hope yours have a happier result than my family's. People tell me I'm actually not doing too badly under the circumstances but getting over the loss is going to take a long time.

p.s. Nice rifle! One of those in Krag is my fantasy Eastern Canada moose gun. Of course, being on the opposite shore and alone now, I can't imagine what I'd do with a whole moose!

Bob, that is a sweet looking rifle. I am sorry about the family situation and hope all works out. Take care.

Sorry to hear about your family, I hope it all works out! I had a 95 Carbine in 30-06, sold it because every one convinced me it was not a macho as my 86 in 45-70! I would love to get a rifle version in ether 30-40 or .303. Maybe when I get my musical house routine over, I will have a little walking around money.

Stearman,
For the ultimate "macho" 1895, opt for the .405 Winchester ctg. you will appreciate its power. And the '95 was a notorious "kicker". If you're into that kinda stuff! :)

Nice, I picked up a couple, a standard and high grade a few years back in .405 Win. 30-40 would have been my first choice.
