Congrats Gregg! Nothing beats brand spanking new for a daily driver.
Thanks guys, too bad it's my wife's daily driver. :p
At least I saved the Saturn before she messed it up too much, but not without a weekly cleaning ritual.
Just in time too, apparently my Neon has developed an oil consumption issue (ie, losing oil).
A 15yr old Dodge using oil, who would have thought? ;)

I never touch those anyway.
Oddly enough, the Saturn doesn't have those. [huh]
And if I DO pick at one, my wife will fiddle with it on the next 12hr trip, and complain that it's peeling.
Best to leave those things alone.

Don't pay attention to him, he thinks the only luxury car is a Sedan Deville.
Lincoln makes a wonderful product, in fact I'm trying to talk my FIL into purchasing a Navigator later this year, used of course because what they want for a new one is the price of a good house in his town. :D

This coming from someone crazy enough to buy a Saturn AND a Neon. I do not trust your judgement. lol lol
The only luxury car now is the Escalade---which is sad because all the rest are sports cars parading around as luxury cars. Lincoln no longer makes the Continental. Considerig how underpowered it was in the 1980s it makes sense.
The Navigator rides like a truck---something they still have not worked out. Not to mention they have not done much with styling either---the poor bread box with wheels. lol lol

The Saturn was because a family member was GM of 3 dealerships that sold the brand.
Had he sold Cadillac, I might have bought one...MIGHT but probably not. ;)
The Neon was my wife's dowry. Yeah, I wish it would have been her father's town car, but so be it. :p

Riiiiggghhhhttt.
My wife's car was a Ford Granada---The Biggest Pile of Crap I have ever owned---for a SHORT time. In that short time I must have replaced everything---twice. It had to go and quick. No excuses, no pleading. She forgot all about it when I got her the Escalade. lol lol
Her father's town car was underpowered. You would have loved going up hills with the trunk loaded with groceries---foot to the floor and not getting over 65mph. That was the worst car I have ever been forced to rent. The Expedition was the worst I have rented for a long trip. It rode like a truck with a worn out suspension. It was absolutely horrible. Every person I had as a passenger complained.

There's still one rolling around town here. I see it at the neighbor's house, and in the parking lot at work. Mint green with a dark green top. Guessing 1979 or so.

I've had two Crown Vic's and a Grand Marquis. The Town Car is on the same platform, don't imagine it'd be a lot different.

It was the only true Luxury sedan offered after 1996, and I already have Cadillac's final luxury sedan, so what other choice do I have?

Buy one and see. lol lol

Reminds me! I got the Cadillac out of my garage. That Big Pig sure ate up a ton of real estate.

Mint Green?! Dark Green top?! :puke: No thanks. Geez, the 70s stunk. :p

Buy one and see the difference. :p

Have you seen the new Lincoln? Calling that a luxury sedan is far from the mark. It is just another sports car like the rest. No room and no trunk. The back seat will make you put your knees on your chest. :p
