Solid specimen of an Aero Horsehide Highwayman size 42 (but read the measurements please). Barely used. I bought it from a fellow Lounger a year or two ago, but it's just not my cup of tea. Sorry, a couple more questions: is it a seal or russet brown (the larger pics look seal, the smaller ones look more russet); is it heavy or midweight HH; and is shipping to Hawaii a problem?

It's Aero's Brown Heavyweight FQHH. It's a very heavy duty hide, I can tell you that! Coloring is really closer to a seal vs. a russet...but it's uniquely Aero, if that makes any sense. Shipping to Hawaii is not a problem.

This arrived yesterday, shipped promptly and packed with care. The jacket itself was exactly as described in terms of measurements and better than described in terms of condition (the lining is beautiful and the handwarmer and inner pockets are lined with some deep blue felt material that feels different than moleskin).

I think a more accurate color description would have been cordovan rather than brown, however. It's hard to say for sure because it's not very red, but it's definitely not seal, russet, or even regular brown FQHH as I compare it in person to what's on Aero's site. No worries, though, it looks great!

As you know, color is a very subjective thing...and very hard to capture in photos! Glad your happy & enjoy the jacket!

Indeed, and having spent more time with it and nailing down a belt/boot combo for it, I think you are correct that it is just regular old Aero brown. Which apparently looks rather red to me at first blush, but the more I look at color 8 or cordovan or seal...the clearer it is that it isn't those

Aero colors are distinctly their own. One can never describe them in relation to other colors.
