They got some very good designs. But I wouldn't want to pay 179€ for a garment that is essential 37% wool, and 63% plastics.

Hello Everyone,

I recently went back to the tailor I used here in Vietnam and had some more trousers made. I wanted a hollywood waist. Although I think he did a great job as far as styling, he left shine marks where he ironed them. I didn't notice this until I got home.
The cost was $35 dollars a pair. Is it true vinegar will take out the shine?

Hoping to save them,

Rob Crossley at Rocacha will make you beautiful, period trousers in pure wool. £145 to us Brits, but for overseas, be sure to check out both carriage costs, and does Uncle Sam want some sort of import duty.

Hello to all,

As I have posted under another thread, I just had two pairs of trousers made here in Vietnam. I am here teaching English and it's difficult to buy anything that fits let alone vintage style. To exacerbate matters I have put on some weight and am now a 36" waist. I have also developed a little beer weight. The specs are as follows:

High waist, even with top of my belly button, 15.5" front rise, 2" cuff and 22" circumference bottom leg opening, European pleats. Cost. $35 each. What do you think?

I took a few photos from online and had the tailor make me these:

Cheers,

Congratulations. They look great. Did you get the fabric there, or have it imported? I know about the weight gain. It happens to us all when we live in hot, humid countries. Was it difficult to make the tailor understand what you wanted?
