Borsalino 5.5" x 2.5", cavanagh edge, 21 ligne black ribbon & windcord, model Gorasgu, color Palladio

Fantastic felt, thin and lightweight. Very thin cavanagh edge. Palladio is a light grey with a shift towards the warm side, somewhat similar to the Winchester Granite. Gorasgu is one of Borsalino's fantasy names for their models.

Ideally fits a 57.3cm to 57.5cm head circumference (22 5/8", or a tad smaller)

51-type block with rounded shoulders that square out with a diamond crease.

Sweatband, felt, liner in solid condition.

I still have a few hats too many, so I selected this one for sale. I have nothing but "favorites" left, so you won't see all too many hats from me here anymore.

$275.- shipped worldwide

PM me if interested.

One more price drop to move this beauty of a Borsalino. I'm sure you realize that I'm not making any money on selling these hats.

$230.- shipped worldwide

I have a question on this hat. Is there a 'dot' on the side of the hat? On the left side (when worn), I think I see something near the front of the crease. I want to know if it's just lint or something else.

What you may see in any of my photos is the shadow of a scratched camera lens in one particular spot.
The liner of this hat (and the other Borsalino for sale) has no dots, no watermarks or anything. It is a little creased due to the crown being pinched and creased, but that's all.

I guess I wasn't clear for which I apologize. It's on the outside of the hat and not the liner. I've clipped a picture and highlighted it. You can see it in other photos as well.

Sharp eyes. Yes, that's a darker dot smaller than a pin hole would be. You wouldn't notice it, I dare say. I know I didn't.

Update on the condition of this hat:
I just inspected this hat once more, and found that during the last wear it must have popped a few stitches of the unreeded sweatband, at the right side of the temple. The sweatband is still in good wearable condition, but anyone who has worn unreeded sweatbands knows how unpredictable they are. Eventually they need replacement if the hat is worn often enough.
Note that there are two rows of stitches on these sweats, one is on the surface and easily visible. That one is popped. The other one is blind, being positioned lower and hidden right between the felt and a couple millimetres below the upper edge of the leather, and it's still intact. So, the popped section is not loose. You can leave it as it is or fix it with Fabri-Tac.

For the record, the other Borsalino that just sold was fine, no popped stitches.

This leaves me no alternative but to drop the price on this hat. It's now available for $160.- shipped worldwide.

By request and for the others to see as well, here are some photos of the hat being worn.

The silhouette is quite similar to Art's signature profile, with only a moderate brim flange and a crown straightened by the diamond crease which fits natural with the block shape.
