Bamaboots, yes the area used to be called that, now it's just plain Avondale. I saw recently where it ranked as the most hipster neighborhood in the state. I will say, of all the local breweries that have cropped up here recently, I like the beer from Avondale Brewery the best.

And Mike, yeah, that water probably tastes like wino sweat and duck ****.

Thanks, Harv. It really is a cool thing. If you get up in that grotto where the spring starts, there's a constant cool breeze blowing out from between the rocks they used to close the cave up with. It's like a natural air conditioner.

Pictures of last weekend:

Went to "Troia". Troia is a beach resort in "Peninsula de Troia" on the Sado river mouth. Visited the roman ruins

From there we can see "Setubal" city and "Serra da Arrábida".

After that went to the oceanic beach. Even for me it's weird to see this long beach with a "mountain" so close. Really nice beach.

Going south went to another beach, this one I had spent my adolescence summers. This is "Medides" beach, now "modernised". It was much more fun before. Now looks kind of boring since they demolished the fisherman shacks. There was life there, now it feels... empty.

More to the south passed near "Sines" Castle.

The next day went to Spain to try their beaches. Been in "Isla Canela".

And later went diner in Silves again. The medieval days were there yet. A view of the other side of the Castle

Next day, more Spain this time the beach of "Isla Cristina"

The last day, "Manta Rota" beach. People may say good things of Spanish beaches but my friend, when it comes to crystaline waters, that is in Portugal, not Spain.
